Who is behind Ecuador and Galapagos Islands Informations Website?

My name is François Painchaud. The two overwhelming passions of my life are traveling (specially in Latin America) and learning new stuff about the Internet and SEO, quite at opposite ends of the spectrum! While my probing the mysteries of the Internet has been an abiding affair for nearly 15 years, I fell in love with Latin America fairly recently. This is how it came about.

I got my first serious look at the captivating world of the Internet in 1994, when I was working in the IT sector. In 1998, while working on server management and network manager on the Linux OS, I got seriously hooked. The Internet was throwing up a sea of opportunities and challenges, revolutionizing businesses across continents. I wanted to be a part of it.

Soon I had left my job to open my own business of internet strategy consulting, with small and medium Canadian businesses as my target clientèle.

But opportunities were endless and we ended up doing much more, like setting up websites, software development, search engine optimization and e-commerce, data hosting, and providing all kinds of software solutions to clients across different sectors from retail to aviation. We have completed over 400 successful projects over the years.

Then one day I traveled to Latin America, and lost my heart to these beautiful countries. They made such an impression on me that I took one year, sold my company, and prepared for my new adventure. I then kept traveling through them for well over a year, doing research and gathering fantastic experiences as I went along.
